RBGordie
They are adding yet another team next year - Utah. To me it's depressing having so many teams. 32 is ridiculous, and now it'll be 33, then more I'm sure. There were SIX when I started watching hockey! At least for one year. Then 12. Too many teams waters down the talent pool. Obviously the more teams they have, the more mediocre players they have to allow into the NHL. Also, with so many teams, the chances of your team winning the Stanley Cup gets very low in your lifetime. On average, your team will win the cup every 32 years! Statistically on average. But it's all about money these days, so they don't care about such considerations. Anyway, that's my 2 cent rave about it.
