blocker
Wayne, New Jersey is a distance from Flyer land. But if any of you live close to there, one of my grandsons is playing for Vermont in a bantam tournament in Wayne this week. He's a pip. You'll enjoy watching him play. DaGreatGazoo
Blocker, so your grandson made Nationals? What team? He could be playing the team my son used to play for, and went to nationals with 2 years ago.
blocker
My Grandson plays for Vermont. Which team did your son play for? I might have seen him play.Lots of fun, Gazoo. Edited March 28, 2012 by blocker
DaGreatGazoo
My son was in 2 years ago...he played for the Lancaster Firebirds. The Firebirds are back this year, they play the Jr Monarchs in their 1st game tomorrow morning. I think Vermont is 2A, and Lancaster is 3A...based on regional size-so those teams wouldn't play...I assume his team is Burlington?
blocker
YUp......It's called Chittenden, South Burlington. In this round, they play teams from Maine, Indiana and Arizona.
DaGreatGazoo
@blockerAwesome! I am tracking on USA HOCKEY website. Good luck! My sons old team won their 1st game, 5-1. Played the Jr Monarchs.
blocker
Jr. Monarchs aren't pushovers. Your boys old team must be pretty good. I watched my pal's game on fasthockey.com. I always feel like I should take dramamine watching that site with all the herky-jerky movement. His team won 11-3. I think the next game will be a lot tougher. Anyway, it's fun.
