He got overpaid a tad, considering he's already played 15 years, but he should remain productive for the entire contract...imagine that huh, not having to worry about the last couple years of a deal? This is the type of deal that I would have liked to see Vinny sign, give him a mill more and take away 2 years. Of course, the Devils were not bidding against 10 other teams like the Flyers because Elias never became a UFA. This is classic Lou, getting the cap hit and term both respectable.
