What you really have is a guaranteed shot at Eichel.....that is the important thing here. If somebody else wins the lottery, you still have a star #1 franchise center.....so having him in conjunction with Bennett from last year gives the Sabres and incredible 1-2 punch at center, no matter who the pick is this year, either guy is elite.
