A better approach is to keep weaning the team off from the worst +/- players, e.g. Eberle -6, Nurse-6, and Draisaitl -6. Matchups based on +/- are better information. He should never have separated Lucic and McD in the first place. And Pulju should have been with McD from the beginning. McLellan is the problem.
