Outside Assessment of 2016-17 Flyers

Howdy Gang:

 

I saw this earlier today on ESPN.  It is a good assessment of the season.  In essence--we've been a marginal club for the past half decade and played according to expectations.

There isn't much to disagree with.  Our goalies were sub-par.  So was our D.  Ghost was a known and more defensible quantity.  Yes...there is youth on the way.  But...Giroux is in decline.

Food for thought as we hit the Happy Hour, payday, movie date, or whatever, having a sinking feeling about facing the Devils.
