hf101 Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 Just when the Avalanche were looking to be a team to make the playoffs the injury bug has severed their chances. Varlamov is now out for the remainder of the season with a LBI after a collision with Thomas Jurco and Eric Johnson is also out 6 weeks with a fractured patella. Their remaining schedule won't be easy: Ducks on Sun, Kings on Monday, Sharks on Thurs and closing out the season with the Blues at home next Saturday. I think he has been out with an infected cut on his hand, but he did go on to win the game against the Hawks. I guess the next 4 games will tell it all.
