yave1964
Moving on...... The Central is a strange division as it seems to have a mix of all the teams that dont fit anywhere else. Tampa and the seven dwarfs was my initial thought but there are some decent teams. 8)CHICAGO Lost three of their top six forwards already, net is a mix of nobodies, this could be cringy. 7) WINGS. A slight improvement on last year as they show some signs of life but still a bad team. 6) JACKETS snuck in with a ton of loser point games last year. fun to watch but wont happen again. 5) PANTHERS surprise by not being awful will compete but just miss the playoffs. 4) PREDATORS deep team aging makes a final run before changes must be made. 3) STARS good enough in this weak division to compete. 2) LIGHTNING. yes, i pick them for second with Kucherov out. will coast, try to get healthy for the playoffs. 1) HURRICANES. Try to find a weakness, there isnt one (okay Mrazek isnt really a top starting goalie) deep talented, fun and hungry. HURRICANES OVER THE PREDATORS LIGHTNING OVER THE STARS (AGAIN) LIGHTNING OVER THE HURRICANES IN FOUR as Kucherov comes back healthy and rested and they overwhelm a damn good Carolina team that will be the better club in the regular season but who hasnt learned how to win in the postseason yet.
