  1. He has 2 goals so far for the Ducks this season.

That's more than most of the Flyers' forwards (including G).

    Just saying.

What/whom exactly did we get in return for Maroon again???

I won't be losing any sleep over maroon and his 2 goals.

  2. Hey, not signing Leino either way was a good idea in my book.   Homer not having the money was a "safeguard" that needed to happen.  Otherwise, Homer would have thrown more money than Buffalo at him... blessing in disguise :)

any $$ he saved was pissed away on bryz. It's like complaining about what table a gambling addict lost there $$ at.

  3. Trading Crater and Richards in and of itself isn't the bad thing. The bad thing is trading them after giving them essentially lifetime deals.

    Some more "moves":

    1) making Smith captain (ignoring better options, set the stage for...)

    2) making Richards captain (which was clearly too much, too soon and ignored better options)

    3) not re-signing Jagr/Carle (primarily for continuity with Jagr (who played a big role in career years for G and Hartnell) and for the puck moving dman in Carle)

    4) six-year, NMC $4.75M deal to Hartnell

    Not re-signing for

Not re-signing Leino was a mistake imo, they wanted the cheap fix. Yes Jagr worked out for one year and Leino was terrible in Buffalo, but he had good chemistry here.

  4. @FORBSY

    Welcome.  I think.......   ;)

We've been here for almost 2 years what took you so long to find us....it isn't as if we didn't leave a trail.....

I don't think the Leafs have a deep enough roster to win the cup in 2015.  They could make it out of the first round though.

leafs never did well enough in the past for him to join.

  5. If you are not completely discouraged by his loss you simply weren't watching.

    They got out-everything-ed

This team needs to be erased from history.

There is no point in playing any more games this year. None. They are incapable of doing anything. It's like none of them have ever played/coached the game before.

There is NO system and they can't execute one anyway because they're all pathetically terrible at the game of hockey.

There need to be COMPLETELY MAJOR CHANGES in the organization and at least half the talent in the ice needs to be utterly replaced.

Giroux must be stripped of his captaincy immediately. And quite frankly I'd see if we could trade him. I'd take him for Weber straight up. I might take him for nurse straight up.

He's playing terrible hockey. Utterly terrible hockey. He's trying to do everything but he seems incapable of doing anything.

my solution is to stop watching.

  6. Paying him to hit the road was the best move we've made in a while. He was a distraction, so-so on the ice, and simply making too much money.

How did he become a headcase here at wasn't for the coyotes?? They must have did a good job hiding his condition.

  7. Rather easily, it's not like he's going anywhere in a hurry.

Well he's not fast, but maybe his large presence will "scare" the other team out of our zone. I'm sure that is what management is thinking. :D
