Weird…My stream had the Flyers broadcast crew.  The stream froze for a minute and came back with the Canadiens French speaking broadcast crew.  No clue what they’re talking about!

Briere said before the draft Gauthier said he wanted to be a Flyer so they drafted him.  After the World Championships last year, he told them he didn’t want to play in Philly.  The Flyers kept that info from the media & public to protect Gauthier.  They honored his wish and traded him.

No, for 2 reasons:
1.  It would be considered the follow through from the shot.

2.  No high sticking penalty if any player gets hit in the head with a stick while they are on their knees.

They salvage a point from what seemed like a lost cause.  If only they would’ve started on time…

Correction:  Seeler must have been given a game misconduct for flipping out in the penalty box. The box score shows 27 pims, (game misconduct counts as 10 on the box score).

The 3-min power play came a little later when the Flyers had a man in the box already and Ghost or called for a double minor, (interference and unsportsmanlike).

Both players got fighting majors.  Seeler didn’t get a game misconduct…he got 17 minutes of penalty time,(5 for fighting, 2 for instigating, 10 min misconduct). There was less than 17 mins on the clock so he went to the room.  He’ll be back in the 3rd.

Seeler got checked up high and didn’t like it.  He dropped the gloves and got called for the instigator.  Horrible call.

Flyers seem to have more energy to start the 2nd.  A fight and a goal…2 goals.

Edit:  The team in front of Hart looks tired.  Wings are out skating them.

What illness is Hart dealing with?  He’s been sick for a couple weeks.

Yes.  Doesn’t happen often, though.  The only reason they do it is because after so many game misconducts you get suspended.  At least it used to be that way.

Farabee is benched?  Only 2 shifts for 56 seconds total halfway through the game.

What's the point of reviewing a major if they don't have the audio, which is Toronto's only excuse for upholding the call.

Yep…horrible call.  I can’t remember the last time I saw I saw a boarding call where the player was hit into the boards at an angle like Hughes was.  This is one of those times that we might see the game misconduct rescinded tomorrow.
