  1. I didn't mean to imply that was the only reason. There was another thread that cited other reasons why his game is better. A couple other reasons were because his personal life seems to be in order and playing on a line with Giroux and Jagr. My guess is it's a combination of all those factors.

  2. @galgonWild - agreed, the Wild have some great prospects - finally. If only they didn't suck so much now.

On a personal matter, I know that you are prolly a 50 year old, balding, dude, but how big are your t!ts? jk - Flyer fan humour right there. Presumably, you`ll get used to it.

    So smooth with the ladies.

  3. Isn't it coincidental that Hartnell's game improved at the same time the Hartnell Down count began?

I don't think so, but to be more accurate, when Hartnell found about it is more relevant. He was getting healthy and playing with G. His personal life was stabilizing, and he had a duty as a veteran player to help lead the rookies. As the team's best power forward, he adds to the line chemistry of the dual threats G and Jagr bring.

Both of those and the departure of Richards and Carter.

  4. Giroux not among All-Star Game starters http://www.csnphilly...318&feedID=6572

what a bunch of bs. roo should say no thank get the rest during the AS break and be ready and healthy for the rest of season

I'm pretty sure the players cannot say no to the AS, if selected. They must play or attend if injured. They get suspended if they don't. There were a few players several years ago who didn't play because of injuries (Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Crosby). Datsyuk and Lidstrom did not attend the gameand chose to stay in Detroit to rehab their minor injuries. They were suspended 1 game each. Crosby did not play but he attended the game and did not get suspended.
