    Perhaps Pronger and "monoboy" were sharing a water bottle? You can be contagious 2 years after getting over mono. Not a fun illness for sure.

    Wow, good to see him tearing up the AHL like that. I'm just hoping he can make the jump and all that at the NHL level.

    Well considering we already took Gustafsson (IR with wrist injury), Marshall, and Bourdon who really is left that is ready to make the leap? Lilja is what he is, a 6th NHL defensemen. I'd rather have him over what would essentially be the Phantoms 4th defenseman (assuming we just pluck the top d-man each time). I'm really curious as to who we will see, based off of preseason I'm hoping it's Blake Kessel, but I don't want to really rush any of those guys.

    for approximately 6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Pronger is still not 100%, so does this mean half of our defensive corps is going to be Phantoms? This may get ugly. I didn't see any call-ups today though? What's going on with this.

    I believe they said the guy received a 20 game suspension. Can you imagine if his swing was higher and hit him in the face or neck?

    I've been very impressed with him so far. His numbers are good (not great) but his vision and hockey intelligence is simply amazing. I'm excited to see what this kid is going to be able to do a few years down the line. I'm amazed he slipped all the way to 8th. If he fills out a little more and continues to stay focused on his game we will have the best player out of that draft hands down.
