    I was actually thinking assistant coach,not a head coaching position. Some body who could inspire the younger players.

    Bryzo, the Flyer's twiced waivered phenom would love to share some of the Philly media coverage with Mike Leighton.Has anybody heard if Bryzo has come up with counter move to avoid any more of those richochet goals? Bryzo is dah' man!

    I'd like to see Homer convince Eric Lindros to sign on as a coach,adviser,someone who has been there and could show the kids how its done,a genuine superstar!

    Is high island anywhere near dry island? Is it near the Skatezone? One more reason for Snider to buy the rink in Vineland!

    The unusual thing is Players don't want to come to "Flyerville". Homer is in the cavitation mode.

    Thinking of the Devils series as an example,I thought Homer might might attempt to correct those glaring weaknesses.Without Pronger this team has no grit,its still soft, a twice waived goalie and no real leader to take the Flyers to the NHL promised land. Homer gave away a ton and got a few pounds in return, Flyerville has lost its charm to attract better players. Homer is is starting to resemble Garth Snow,the Nassau County Bumbler!

    This defense without Pronger is a big step down. Homer needs to develop a gauntlett type defense figuring out what genes Rinaldo activates and give some to Coburn and Grossmann it would really be interesting.

    The bottom of the barrel is now! As demoed by Homer's recent catches,he's saying the same thing about these guys he said when he got Carcillo.

    This guy always seemed to be a decent "D" man,shoots right,big guy,(6'5") 228 lbs.,not afraid to mix it up,his stats aren't too hot and after the Canes he moved around a lot. Anybody have any thoughts on him ? Apparently his contract with Tampa expired. Anybody?

    Homer could offer Poile,Timmonen and Hartnell in exchange for Webber,think Kimmo could help fill the hole Webber left and Hartnell could provide the offense the Preds never had. We know the Preds like these guys,I'm not sure if any players want to come to Philly anymore with the "Plague" in goal.

    Maybe defending in front of Bryzo is a career threatening experience? I like the optimistic look on the Flyer's "D" men, it gives new meaning to the term spin. It would be nice if one of these guys would step up and lead,Coburn would be the most likely candidate,but? Homer kind of botched things this time. Bryzo Rules!

    Parise and Suter are good players,not superstar players. This year GMs are throwing a lot of money at far players far exceding their skill levels. I don't fault the players,its the GMs who are irresponsible.

    Maybe it would help if Homer got a new "Shrink"! Where is this club going? Strange draft.Prongers replacement is Luke Schenn. Is this the year Lavi brings the cup back to Philly?

    Wouldn't it be nice if Homer acquired a couple of players with grit. "Grit": Something that hasn't been seen here in many moons.
