First off i think db is a very classy guy. Someone who holds a lot of respect on that roster. When read and mcginn come back there's going to be a a surplus of forwards. I know Danny's clutch in the playoffs but to have a shot at a young dman while getting cap relief at the same time would help this team. That will let mcginn and read back in the lineup. Having gags back helps in losing db also. Jmo.

Lisa Hillary interviewed him on Comcast phila. When she asked how he was being affected by trade rumors he said I know I'll be here til the end of the year. It doesnt sound like he's lifting his nmc. I cant imagine if they asked him to waive it to get a good young d man to help the club he'd say no. The more he keeps scoring the hotter the trade rumors will get.

I agree with getting what you can for briere and dumping bryzs contract next year. Kimmo is a tough call. Only if we're definitely out of the playoff picture do i get rid of him. I dont think anyone will offer sheet coots. Yes he's not bad for his age but we have A LOT of young kids on this team. Who do u keep and how do you get better? I know coots is like God on this sight but i would consider moving him for the right price. As well as everyone said he played against malkin last year the guy still had 8 pts in 6 games. Hes also looked pretty much invisible this year. If you want a good player u have to give one up. We still have G, Schenn, Jakub, Simmonds and Read. All young and looking very good.

It seems like every time there's a break away, a partial break away or time to make a big save he folds. A goalie who's signed for that kind of money needs to be just that, money.

Since there's only 3 of you talking to each other I'll chime in. It was a good game in all. The pens played a much more physical game. Two things i noticed. When conicker dumped the puck in and tried to go around letang he was majorly impeded. It was obvious a penalty. Also, when it was 3-2 and the bolts were buzzing guess what happened? A nice little 5 on 3 for your pens. They score and its the game winner. Do they lead the league in 5 on 3's or what? Thats 3 of them in 2 games that I've seen. I smell bs...

Being a pens fan you are one of the very few who feel that way. I've asked that exact same question on letsgopens.com and about %99 said he got what he deserved. That was my last post there. They dont like having flyers fans on that site. Unlike this one.
