Ristolainen was the pick but he was taken. Zardov is not as quick as morin and not projected to be as good as morin. Pulock? Want him but not at 11. He's good. But his d game needs serious work and he simply isn't big enough.

There is no guarantee that bernier will be a elite goalie. Also we had nothing Toronto wanted or that we refused to part with. They wanted a back up capable goalie. We didn't have that. They wanted a top six forward at a lower cap hit and a pick. We don't have that forward or goalie. Don't say read because he's a ufa next year with a large cap prolly.

Well this was a very well known issue. The flyers will buy him out because the players didn't play for him anymore. They played differently for mason.

I like this deal. I'm thinking 5.5 to 6.0 is a good fair market price. As long as its not a long term contract. Longer then four would be bad. Maybe this is an indication that they are not trading young players for yandle or buff and letting them mature. That true number 1 dman is simply not available unless we are gutting the team.
