Seems with the who would take his place you missed the whole Gus can replace Carle part. HHHhhhmmm. Not sure how you missed that but oh well. Yes Gus i believe can do everything Carle has and can do. Gus can play big minutes and play soft around the net and lose his guy down low and chase the puck and get pushed all over the crease and shoot wide of the net....we don't have to pay Carle all that money...just let Gus do it for cheap. Carle sucks goat balls. Carle is no where as good without Pronger. I'm tired of watching him get pushed around and play with his head up his a$$$...let a young kid do that no need to play someone 4-5mill a year to see that Gus can do it for 900K. I love to send JVR to the Yotes for O.E.L. Yotes need more speed and size on the wing and the Flyers need a young defenseman to anchor and build around. Its a win win for both organizations.

All good points. This team for whatever reason(maybe cause at home the fans are so quick to get on them) play better on the road. So hope they can make up for the turd they laid the other day. Bryz needs to still be rounding into form because there ain't nothing but stellar goaltending left in the playoffs and many will argue and i can't defend that the Flyers have the WEAKEST net left in this contest. So it will have to be a TOTAL TEAM EFFORT FOR 60 and it's a WIN. If not it will be hard to climb back with this bunch.

Yeah Rinaldo will be a target for the refs and everytime he throws a hard legal check that the refs might not see and then the player crumples to the ice the refs for the benefit of the doubt it's Rinaldo the arm will go up...not fair but reality...hard to play rough these days in the orange and black.

My biggest problem with Jags is he just can't hang on to the puck. He gets it and tries some stick handling to keep it and just seems to just fumble it away...his hands just aren't there anymore regardless of his speed...his skills are so diminished he just can't contribute in the playoffs like he did in the regular season. The playoffs everyone takes it up a notch...except for him it seems he can't or just that he was ALREADY playing his best and it's all he has left....

I wish i could come up with a good excuse but i'll have to give that more time i'll check back.......

That is why i was saying Gus can stay. He can surely improve but i must say i like his effort so far...he's still learning. Lilja is a pylon out there basically. He get so many block just by STANDING there and they just hit him he doesn't get in their way!
