Or at least to take care about a hidden treasure in the Iowa Wild team , a natural sniper Dmitrii Sokolov who was producing about 40-50 goals for 2 seasons in a row in OHL when played together with Andrei Svechnikov. I think Kaprizov could provide Sokolov with a perfect assists for sniper shots plus a language barrier will be minimal for building a strong chemistry among them and Zuccarello. I am waiting for Sokolov tryout in the big club. Why not?
Wouldnt hurt to give him a chance to see what they could do together Sokolov is running out of time here.

IMO he's passed the early audition even before this landmark. Obviously the AHL isn't an option for him anymore. He has nothing to prove nor learn there. Nor is an option riding the bench behind Talbot for that matter.
They need to give him more starts than to Talbot. Hopefully Evason has enough cojones to make it happen.
Hopefully hes not a flash in the pan I dont think so but with the Wilds luck who knows.

Hope, our rookie will be able to repeat his success next game too. Last season Kahkonen was the best in entire AHL league and I think, he is our future Wild star.
He earned that shutout.

A very good article by Tony Abbott, thanks for that. Hopefully any Calder voters will read it! LeBrun's tweet looks silly now.
And yeah Datsyuk is very similar to Kaprizov!
Yes he is now to get a couple of players to go with hi

Probably pissed that Lafrenière is still struggling and won't get the Calder. Stützle, Suter and even Kurashev are way ahead of him.
Your more then likely right

Pavel Datsyuk (drafted in 1998 year in the round 6 ; #171 overall by Detroit Red Wings) who is having multiple(18) awards in his career and he still is playing in KHL as a forward- captain of Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg team (in 51 played games this season had 35 points( 12 goals;23 assists;+/- +12) and in 4 Gagarin playoffs games this year he had 2 assists). Here is a description about him written by Matias Strozyk in 2012 :
"A fantastic offensive player with excellent two-way skills. Very useful on both powerplay and penalty-kill. Datsyuk is extremely skilled with the puck and a supreme stickhandler and passer. A first-class set-up man and strong skater. Sometimes has issues with large defensemen due to his relatively small stature but is capable of protecting the puck and himself thanks to balance and natural skill. "
Is a similar characteristics having a Kirill Kaprizov ? Absolutely. Kaprizov is like an identical copy of Datsyuk playing for our team. Hope, he will get in his career as many awards as Datsyuk or at least a half.
Hes a good comparison it would be great if Kaprizov has a career like Datsyuk

If someone were to continue with the BS, he/she'd probably like to know why the heck was he selected ONLY in the 5th round? By any team.
Someone noticed he was worth a pick guys slip by every year like said late bloomers lots of reasons teams pass on a guy.

I do not think Boldy has the same talent and experience as Fiala. As an addition to the team - yes, but not as a replacement. Fiala's talent is a Fiala's talent and it is not replaceable. Sincerely , I would like to see Boldy's as well as Rossi's plays at the Iowa Wild team first to see how they are capable to handle that level of hockey, which is pretty intense too. Like KHL the AHL is also a good machine for developing professionals. So far I am satisfied how is developing EEK. Sturm is also a nice speedy surprise for this season. In general, the team is looking better and capable to withstand a good pressure against the opposite team of course, if supported by a good solid goaltender. And a real valuable 1C , probably, would be a very expensive for us. I think it would be better to keep those money for Kaprizov, Fiala, Foligno and other players who are merit to hold here and whose contracts will be done this or next year. Plus, if I am not wrong, this year is an expansion year for Seattle team, which is kind of highly worry for me too.
I dont think Rossi is going to be that all star center but I guess we will see when he recovers hopefully he will

I'm not sure if trading Fiala for that "one missing piece", 1C, is a recipe for success. Kind of like giving up a mule to get a donkey. The Wild obviously needs Fiala, he's stepped up big time since the early days coming to Wild. So the question is who else is there to offer in exchange? Kaprizov, Fiala and Kahkonen should all be kept.
Is Fiala enough to get a number one center Iam sure it would likely take more. Who would take Fialas place

I know. I kind of hope, that we would somehow find a 1C or a near 1C with luck. We never get the first picks, but we did find Kaprizov and others in the later rounds. VGK has Stephenson in their first line and he's a third round pick.
Still, a 1C is a 1C. Nearly always more important than a winger. It's just that who would score, if we didn't have Fiala? Only possible to trade him, if guys like Boldy would show signs of being able to fill the void. It would have to be a surefire 1C, for sure, to lose all the assets for.
All you can do is give Boldy a chance see how he does.

Zucc has risen like the phoenix playing next to Kap. Favorable development for the Wild, given his seemingly unnecessary contract. We certainly have a better return on his $, than we do on 11's, who couldn't buy a goal with all his funds.
Who would thought after last year the two them clicking the way they do. Contract bad

Rask has what we called 'muddy skates,' and he has inconsistent passes. His skating limitations can make him ARCTIC cold when his hands aren't working
