He CANNOT be on this roster next season!

I have to disagree there Samifan. I think he’s perfect. Next year is not about wins or loses. It’s about growth. He keeps Eriksson in the A. Let him prove it can challenge for #1 Flyers spot the year later. If he does he might make you think about trading Hart and receiving a better package that works with your development stage. Also I believe he’s budget friendly. Always liked Sami. He played the right way. Hard and for the crest on the front.

  2. Any info if the Flyers are in on this guy? It's from TSN

McKenzie: And there's another free agent we should keep our eye on who most people haven't heard of: a 22-year-old Czech by the name of Jiri Sekac. He went through the NHL Drafts and never got picked up. He was once cut by the Peterborough Petes but he had a strong year in the KHL playing for the Prague team. Right now he has more than a dozen firm offers on a max entry-level deal for two years. He's expected over the next couple of days to make up his mind as to which team. This is a guy who is in great demand. He's a 6'2, 190 pound left winger who many believe is ready to step in NHL-ready.

  3. Why can't G play his off wing like Jake does and have LC in between them. Hartnell with Schenn and Simmonds could be a tough line to play against, possibly weak in their own zone though. I've always thought Read helped Coot's game. Not sure who plays with them but I'd like a more offensive threat than Gagne. Maybe even Rinaldo if he continues to impress.

  4. They will be the third team in the East to clinch. I think we'd all be happy with that. Expecting and hopeful for a number 1 seed in the near future. The NHL sould qualify the true top 8. These third seeds would drop to 6/7 where they truly should be. Much more fair. It's BS the way they have it now.

  5. I think JVR fits in with Giroux and Hartnell. Jager moves onto a line with Briere and Voracek. Schenn likes playing with Simmonds. Talbot brings experience to those two. That leaves Couts and Read (PK partners) and any of the #12 forwards that they interchange.
