  1. Pretty sure his point is Fletcher traded for damaged goods.
  2. Is it just me or is Hayes 3 parts useless? I'm not sure I have ever seen a player so big plays soft my entire life. Flyerfanforlife but Jeez we suck!!
  3. IMO he is still young and will grow into a good NHL scorer. In time he will put the injuries behind him. Anyway that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Lol
  4. I know most don't agree with me but getting rid of Nolan Patrick was a mistake IMO. The kid was a sniper in junior and you don't lose that ability.
  5. Well they couldn't have done worse. Our shootout % is embarrassing to say the least.
  6. Isn't Yandle on of Fletchers big signings? Fletcher = Idiot
  7. I have no words. Well I do..... Playoffs!! Playoffs!!
  8. Fletcher is an absolute disaster as a GM, no question about that.
  9. If they make the playoffs Mike Yeo is coach of the year. Lol Sorry, I just don't see this team making it. Yeah they played good tonight but have they showed anything all year that would make you think they can keep it up?
  10. Holy hell, who are the guys impersonating the Flyers tonight?
  11. Fletcher has to be a seller at the deadline if he wants to save his job IMO. He has to get some assets for players like Giroux, Coturier, Hayes, Ristolalnin and possibly Ellis. Get what you can for JVR and Linblom. He needs draft picks and a young core to do the rebuild right and the players listed are to old for a rebuild to be done right. I doubt it happens though, and for that reason him and Yeo need to be gone asap and bring in a GM willing to make the hard choices and commit to a rebuild done right. We have Hart so build from the goalie out and hire a defence first coach. Or at least a HC that can put a scheme a breakout plan and defensive zone coverage so players know where they need to be. I'm so sick of watching this team running around like chickens with their heads cut off in their zone. Sorry, but we need a coach that can coach position and responsibility to the players. Yeo is not that guy and face it Fletcher is a utter failure as a GM.
  12. They damn well better be sellers. Hopefully Fletcher is fired by then, then maybe we can get some decent assets back. If Fletcher is still here we will be lucky to get a bag of pucks and half a roll of tape.
  13. If this was any other team but Arizona we would be getting our asses kicked. Damn I hope Fletcher gets canned soon.
  14. It would be fitting if Ghost scored the game winning goal. Lol
  15. Well in all fairness you won't be able to claim an offensive dynamo off of waivers.
  16. You are wrong. It is a coached way to break into the offensive zone. If AV didn't approve of the players doing it he would have put a stop to it. That is what coaches do. Do you think they just stand behind the bench in suits and let the players have a free for all on the ice? They draw up plays and its the players responsibility to put these plays into action. Players don't free for all. I guarantee AV approved the drop pass zone entry, whether it works or not that is on the players.
  17. Then who the hell is it then?
  18. Nah. The Flyers are done for the year they won't climb anywhere.
  19. At Clarks age maybe it will be suggested to him it's time to retire.
  20. Don't get me wrong here, I'm happy about AV getting canned. But do you think this is a desperation move by Fletcher trying to save his own job?
  21. Bingo!! The dinosaurs at the top need to be gone too. Again I'm not convinced that this team doesn't have the talent to be competitive if put in the right system. Not enough to be cup contenders but game in and game out, yes I believe they can be. But till the top is removed it will be status quo.
  22. I think that phrase gets tossed around to often when teams tank. I find it hard to believe that they all decided not to play hard just to get AV fired. They are payed to play at the top of their game and not playing hard can and will effect future contracts. Plus no one likes to lose and I'm sure this constant losing is weighing hard on the players also. Yes we are lacking talent in key areas, but when I watch the Flyers play I see a lack of a system. We are not an offensive first team and we are not a defensive first team. A lack of structure and sound game planning leads to players being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
  23. Not disagreeing with that at all. It does start at the top, as you know sh** runs down hill and so does a sports teams cancer.
  24. IMO that is exactly what happened. Hear me out now, we started out strong then 10 games in after playing teams a couple times the other teams changed their style to adjust to beat AV's style of play. Just look at the puck possession in the games we lost. pretty mush getting out shot every game. AV never adjusted the playing style of this team. It all goes back to the playoff bubble year. Played real well until we started playing the same team over and over in a series. Other coaches learn what it takes to beat us and adjust their teams play to achieve that AV and his coaching minions never changed a thing, That is why we start hot then it seems like a switch is flipped and we get ice cold.
