And now Staal is out too? Collided with a ref? Shish....

Lindblom is out.... The Flyers wouldn't be the Flyers without injury bugs. How did he even get injured? I completely missed it.

Well...
- He was out already against the Bolts, yet the Wild won.
- He's at -6, the worst +/- rating in his career.
- He played every game last season when the Wild were eliminated from the playoffs for the first time in 6 years. It was also the first time he's ever played every game in a season. So um...
I'm going to play devil's advocate here and ask does the Wild really need him back?
Fair enough and far be it for me to tell Wild fans about their players. But I would say (again, from my angle) that his skating, positioning, puck moving *is* something the team could use just about now. Plus, do you really want to overload Suter, who already logs way too much ice time fairly early in the season?

Jared Spurgeon's loss was felt in the last game. You guys need him back in the lineup quickly.

No hearing, no penalty, no comment, no nothing.
It was late and head was initial point of contact. I've given up trying to understand the rules on this.
I don't think the league, itself, has a good idea.

now could be a good time for JVR to remember what he's getting paid for.
And Voracek, too.

A severe health scare with his wife...there is little reason for him to rush back.
So I've heard. Shish.... In situations like this, of course family comes first. I hope his wife recovers from whatever illness she has.

Still to early for the verdict, I think. I think he is learning about the team as much as the team learning about him.

Weren't you suppose to replace him with some other goalie?
This was a rollercoaster. This late in a season, the premiere goalies are long gone. I ended up picking Quick up as he was getting hot. Interestingly enough, I since received two offers for him. And I also have Varlamov, who splits time with Greiss. While his stats are not world-shattering, they are respectable. And I am assuming when Dubnyk does come back, he regains his starting position since Stallock didn't exactly set the world on fire. And you know what... all things considered, I could've done worse than this trio.
-
When is Dubnyk supposed to return? Any word why exactly he is out?

It amazes me that you guys even remember all that stuff that was happening *at leas* 10 years ago. Shish....

No question a nice pickup for FHL
That's why I don't win in fantasy leagues anymore... I don't have time to keep up with the prospects and developing players anymore - I just have no time for that. And it keeper leagues, that's key.

Without a doubt... Almost an unmatched skillset. And I don't even care about his points and other stats. Stats are just stats. Watching the confidence he plays with, his hockey IQ, his ice vision, man.... This guy has stardom written all over him. And to add insult to inquiry, we could've had him, but in 2017 we selected Nolan Patrick ahead of him.

Are there other (starters) goalies available in your respective league that would be better? If so...go with them. If not...hold on and hope he can be a part of some kind of turn around. I hope your other goalie is far better than he is.
And that's part of a problem. All good goalies are snatched at this point in the season, of course. There are slim pickings. What concerns me is not even his personal stats; they are crap obviously. What worries me even more is that he will lose his starts to Alex Stalock. I can see a 50/50 split at best and Stalock actually taking over as a starting goalie at worst. In our league if you don't have 3 goalie starts total, you forfeit all goalie scoring categories. And in that case, I might just pick up someone like Jonathan Quick, whose stats are crappy, but at least he is starting enough.

I have Dubnyk on my fantasy team and he is killing me. I still think he is a good goalie (his resume supports this claim, I think), who just happened to be on a bad team. What do you Wild fans think? Should I keep holding on to him? Or it's pretty hopeless at this point?
-
I just turned it on. Did something happen to Giroux? Why his minutes are so down?
-
Painful to watch.

I know it's way too early and he is still taking baby steps in the NHL, but sheeesh..... starts looking more and more like another waste of a 1st round pick. So much potential and so little return.
-
The Bolts need to sign him. There's gotta be a way to reach some common ground. The guy is a generational talent. You don't mess with that.

He has no leverage at all. With the young kids making the push behind him, he's replaceable. Whats hes doing is stupid.
I echo that sentiment. He needs to be on the ice at this point in his career. He is not doing himself any favors.

Doc, Thanks for the invite. I am out this year. I barely have enough time to participate in NAHANA. Maybe next year.
Thanks again for the invite!

Hard to get excited about this. Fletch has never built an elite team. People don't change... usually. To me, this is a clear massage from the Flyers: we are content with just being a mediocre NHL team. Sorry, but I don't see this any other way.

I'm leaning that way as well. At least to start I'd have Goc center Adams and Comeau and try Downie on a wing with Sutter and Spaling. If Tocchet turns him around he'll fit right in. If he reverts back to the dumb penalties he gets bumped to the 4th line.
If anybody has any chance to reach out to Downie, it's Toc. But Downie's time is running out. It's time for him to figure out whether NHL hockey is really for him. As much as I would like to see him succeed, no matter what uniform he is wearing, I don't know if people whoudl really hold their breath. When it comes to Downie, it's always the same crap with him: some decent effort alternated with being stupid and lazy.

The whole situation is just odd. What exactly *are* the "core values and beliefs of Dallas organization"? Why be so obscure and secretive about it? Was it abuse? Was it a racial comment? Was it reporting intoxicated or on drugs to the practice or game? Just say what the hell it is.
