So I was checking after reading an article on Philly.com and all three of them combined for 78 goals last year. Now, if use a 13 game average so far this season and they have scored a COMBINED 3 goals, they would be on pace for 18 goals this season. THAT'S COMBINED! I know Carter has been hurt and Richards and Leino will pick it up more but still. Tha't not pretty! Now , if we count up Voracek, Couts, and Simmonds, they have 11 goals and if we count Read, Talbot (go figure) and Jagr we have 14 more for a total of 25 goals in 14 games. Do you thinks these trends continue overall (with the little ups and down that are expected)?

Don't say anything about screw or women with that avatar. Get me going!

Oh, and I forgot, you don't trade your stocks when they are low in value. You trade when they are high. Schenn isn't high with a broken foot and sketchy NHL play, all 12 or so games he's played! Let the stock rise.

My only problem was when he was called up Lavi made changes to 3 of the 4 lines. When things are going well you don't do that. You can bring him up but you only swap player for player even if means Schenn plays wing on the 4th line. Get him some experience is a great idea but you don't upset the whole apple cart to do it. I wonder who's decision it was to work it that way. Hommer? Lavi? What pressure was there to get schenn into the spot light because of giving up Richards? Well, who ever or for whatever reason it was very bad execution.

Yeah, I'm not happy with faceoffs but isn't it a little premature to be thinking about aquisitions or trades at the deadline just over faceoff % ?

Oh I agree, lets get rid of it. But in our over regulated world that won't happen.

Yeah. Pretty bad place to be (nice city been there, just not for hockey). Carter was cast off to the NHL's equivilant of Siberia. Perhaps no player should piss Homer off. I mean, there are other looser teams like Phoenix and Florida but they atleast have great weather. At least Richards has a beach condo though ! Oh THAT'S right, so does Carter. We should rent it...

Ok, but players have been doing that spinorama move and they all counted when they went in. That's reversing the puck movement all the way. However, I'd like the shoot out gone, forever. That's not going to happen so I suspect there will be a rule revision for next year as to the player and puck movement. Leave the spinorama moves to all star talent show and let hockey be hockey...
