    It's like car wreck, I want to look away but I can't! Like I stated earlier in the thread, or was it another thread, I think a misconduct was warranted for many of the reasons you have put forth. I was at the game and haven't seen the video, but from where I sat Kunitz was on top of Hartnell long enough to be considered married in some states. A 30 second skull f**k is a little much.

    @phlfly I agree that a first round matchup with Fla or Wash is infinitely more favorable to the Rags or Pens. But you have to play to win and let the chips fall where they may

    Is it is wrong to hope the Devils go undefeated the rest of the way? Well yeah that question answers itself, but still I'd really like to see our rookies win a round (assuming that would happen vs Fla) and get some playoff experience building toward the future. I don't like our chances against the Rags or the Pens, not trying to be negative just how I see it

    I just threw up in my mouth. I hear where you're coming from, TV and $ call the shots. But the regular season shootout compromises the integrity of the game as is, doing it in the playoffs at any level would destroy it completely. I just can't see it....but then again I woulda never believed 3 total points in some games and 2 in others....or the freaking trapezoid either.....

    All I know is a system that would reward the Flyers for letting NJ pass them in the standings is seriously effed up!

    Somehow, that seems perfectly logical to me....of course I also think that I'm the reason the flyers lose to the devils in North Jersey every time I go up there, so take that for what it's worth....

    I really don't know how that wasn't at least a 10 min misconduct. Sometimes I think we b*tch too much about the Pens being Bettman's team, but JFC some of the dirty cheap crap they get away with.... How sweet that Scott got the game winner.

    Agreed. I thought Bryz was very good today, if not for him a 2 goal third period wouldn't have been enough to tie it up....or even make it close for that matter.

    Yeah, you could start with Hartnell and have him do his accidental flop into the goalie.....rattle his cage a bit for the second and third shooters! Ok maybe not but I got a funny visual anyway....

    Was at my kid's soccer game, got home just in time for OT. Don't know how he looked in the game but that shootout was putrid. Didn't even flinch on goal #2 to his glove side. Well at least they salvaged a point after going down 2 zip.
