    we're about to hit our second of what could be several 10-game losing streaks this season. this team really has no fight left as a group. their attitude sucks and the mistakes compound nightly with interest. After their lost mentality and directionless skating, their PP is the worst thing I've ever seen on ice.

    i also didn't need to watch to know that Konecy's first goal in 50 games was going to be a fluke either, but then i watched the replay and confirmed and was somehow even more depressed.

    Flyers win 10-1. Yeo's windsprints in all directions pay instant dividends. Flyers learn to laugh and have fun again. We laugh all the way to drafting 17th.

    sadly, so does his compete level. this has been a consistent pattern since at least the last 11-12 years. Hell, we did this in 2010 SCFs. Weather the storm in the first 10 minutes and then settle in to our game (except now the Flyers don't have "a game" to settle into). That's 3GMs and 6 coaches ago, unless I'm forgetting somebody. How is it that this is still happening night in and night out? At this point its become so commonplace and accepted that we only notice if they actually play a competitive first period.

    will they win again? will Konecny ever score again? I don't know the answer to these questions. I do know we're about to be 6 games into another 10 game losing streak.

    i have achieved complete apathy with this team. it's the same directionless, unfocused, flat product night after night. change the coach, change the gm; it's all the same thing repeating ad infinitum. we joke that we're 2 years away from 2 years away, but I think it may be longer than that. I haven't held this pessimistic of an opinion of this team in over 35 years of watching. for the first time in my life, I think I may not live long enough to see this team win a Cup.

    I have to give credit where credit is due and admit the Flyers found a way to not lose 11 in a row.
