Bernier is definitely better than Bob.

But Brown is nowhere near as good a player as JvR, when healthy.

JvR is going to be a 30-40 goal scorer.

There is not one GM in the NHL that would take Brown straight-up over JvR. Not one.

That being said, I'm happy for him that he's still with the Kings. Hope they did enough to make the push into the playoffs.

Doughty needs to start playing up to that contract.

The most goals he has ever scored in a season is 21.. This year he has 11...

Umm I dont think Flyers fans know who Dustin Brown is..

Dustin Brown+ would be able to land us Parise. And i'de 10x rather have Parise over JVR.

I'm a big fan of Dustin Brown, but trading JvR for him straight-up would be an unfair trade for the Flyers.

I would, however, trade JvR & Bob for Brown & Bernier in a heartbeat.

That's a win-win for both teams.

As a Kings fan, I can see our team falling apart.. The thing we have been good at (Def.) has been crumbling apart and our offence hasn't gotten any better. (2.07 Goals a game..) I really hope we make a splash come trade deadline. Even if we dont get Rick Nash we need to do something!

His -88 is very confusing IMO. He is still very young, he will get more mature in his D zone, just takes time. Sometimes his reads on the ice are a bit poor. And sometimes when he goes to throw a big hit/hip check, he misses and it can be an out numbered attack going the other way. But he is very solid in his zone and should not be underestimated.

Jack Johnson, young puck moving D man. Underrated in his defensive abilites. Can play on the power play/ penalty kill. Top 3 D-man. Produces points from the back end, hard hitter.

Haha no, LA didnt underrate Simmonds. We knew how good he was, we wernt looking to trade him but when the offer came we took it.

Bleh, Jeff Carter wouldnt be bad, but him playing center gets me a little worried. I dont think we can have Kopitar,Richards,Carter,Stoll all in the center position. And im also thinking it's going to take about that same as it will to get Rick Nash; Jonathan Bernier,Jack Johnson,Toffoli/Good Prospect.
