I think it's Kimmo Timonen's time to retire.

I had noticed fro last couple years (last three years at least) he doesn't have enough energy during playoff anymore. It was last time he played well when Flyers won against Caps.

If Flyers be able to force retire, then they can go after Sutter. Flyers need a good quater back on blue line, but one will have enough energy for playoff.

You can see his age shows a lot during playoff. That soft pass to Bryzalov, even everyone is blamed him (Bryz) for this, but I don't think so, used be Timmo would never do that, he would skate with the puck behind the net, it's Fatigue you can see clearly.

I think Ed Snider should present golf clubs to each player before the game in Philly and then they can play a game against well prepared Pens team on golf course.

This is logical end of the season for both teams.

yes it's over. Flyers has no determination to win this series. Sad. Absolutely bad for coach, it's his job to make a team win.

Ov is played only 12 min and it was middle 3rd period. I see Hunter don't like him, because his team defensive mind now, they are reminding me Devils at their best years. Slow but study play defense and score when opportunity comes.

But in the end, I think Sid brought disbalnce in the Pens troops. It's taking time to get know each other again, after so much missing games. Also it shows there is no need to win a division or try to do so, as Flyers did in the past and were eliminated in the first round. And Flyers young guys were full energy, so finally Flyers went young and out last Pens each game.

The premise here is that Schenn's gamesmanship earned Asham the suspension and I understood that. It is valid if in fact Schenn was embellishing and/or the league cared about Schenn lying on the ice for a couple. Both of these are conjecture, so I'm not sure what else there is to say except maybe. At the time, i thought the high hit or the punch was enough to shake up a normal person.

The only other thing I can think of is that Schenn went down pretty easily and drew a penalty on Cooke today but it is a little early to say he's a serial diver like say Chris Letang. Briere dives, for sure. Can't think of any other current Flyer who dives other than Hartnell but as you know he doesn't control that.
