Malkin got lazy on defense as he often does and it cost Fleury the shutout, but otherwise an outstanding effort up and down the lines. They do get after Brodeur sometimes and I have to admit, I like it. Good to see Sutter get his first goal as well. I know he's not Jordan Staal offensively, but he had yet to be on the ice for an even strength goal against in eight games, and that says something about his commitment to defense. THAT is what Staal didn't have. THAT is why I was glad we got him for Staal. So the Pens lead the Atlantic now... bring on the Caps! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
