Reminded me of the 1979 conference final between Boston and Montreal, the winner of whom was a lock to win the cup against the Rangers in the next round. Bruins up by a goal late taking a dumb penalty and the tying goal scored on ensuing power play, Boston eventually losing the series and chance at the cup. Of course that was the event that got Grapes fired in Beantown as well. Anyway, I sincerely hope casual hockey fans (If there is such a thing) enjoyed this post season and especially the finals.
