icehole Posted June 26, 2013 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Was Corey Crawford a huge FA signing for Chicago? What about Rask for Boston? What about Quick,Schneider, or Howard. None of these guys or some others were big signings. They had to prove themselves. How many of them won the Calder for Rookie of the Year. We have a guy that we're paying nothing and has the potential to be one of the best in the league. Get a young, promising backup and we're set for years to come.
