hf101
Phoenix Coyotes have agreed to a six-year contract with goalie Mike Smith that will average around $5.7 million per year. I guess they didn't want Bryz back. The goaltending market just got a bit more expensive. Bobrovsky want s 6M in Columbus. Calgary doesn't have a #1. Do they trade for Fleury or Miller or Halak? Sign Bryz? Emery must be seeing $$$.just crazy, hard to predict what will happen
jammer2
@hf101 Wow, that is some big bucks for Smith, who looked pretty crappy a lot last year. Overall, he was barely respectable, but he had some stretches where he stunk. Emery is an awkward situation. Dispite his amazing stats from last year, he may be signing to be a back up or a 50/50 split kind of tender.....which should effect his money total. He still just might become the first ever back up to get 3.5-4 mill a year on the open market.
