jammer2
Looks like Gary is looking to make a prime time Sunday night game, and is pitching the potential package to the 3 big Canadian suitors, namely the CBC, TSN and Bell. It's kind of an untapped market on Sunday night, and would create a lot of revenue. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/eh-game/ready-another-hockey-night-canada-211719356.html Ahhh, my bad, TSN and Bell are one in the same, so it's CBC/TSN-BELL/Sportsnet all vying for the new Sunday night games. Even in hockey crazy Canada, going head to head against the NFL is unwise, but it would potentially be free sailing once the NFL regular season and playoffs are over. I'm thinking rating will be just ok in Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan, but will explode after that.
brelic
If that means getting rid of the Sunday afternoon games, I'm all for it.
TretiakCCCP20
At least its nice to see them attempting to create TV broadcasting contracts and get hockey more out in the open. Now all they have to do is start doing that in the United States.
