If you look at his average TOI from last year and this year it is not that different - it was one game under a new Coach. Schenn is the least of my concerns on defense frankly. Do I see him living up to his high draft pick? No... JvR will be fine when he wants and will disappear for stretches as usual. Based on each team's needs at the time I really dont see this is a bad trade. Toronto needed scoring and we needed defense. He was our best defenseman last year...
