jammer2
@Hockey Junkie As many know, I'm in favour of the current CHL-NHL agreement in regards to returning junior players. In this instance, I'm disgusted that Grigs can't be sent down for a conditioning stint.....it's downright outrageous. This is taking the rule to the extreme, and not accounting for extenuating circumstances. The spirit of the agreement is not being violated here. The Sabres should be able to re-hab this kid in the way they see fit. It's not like they are trying to stash him down there, they were above board and clearly showed their intentions were up front. It's ruling like this that may cause the agreement to be banished....that would be bad for the NHL and the CHL. They need to make amendments for situations like this...this is crazy.
