jammer2
Wow, quite the deal here....Windsor gives up Kerby Rychel and Nick Ebert for 18 year old forward Milne (don't know much about him, but had 16 pts playing limited minutes)...AND an ASTOUNDING 8 draft picks. Windsor gets Guelph's 2nd round picks in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and if Ebert plays one game as an overager next year, Guelph's 2019 2nd rounder is thrown in. Also thrown in were Kitcheners 3rd rounder in 2014 and Windsor gets it's own 4th back from a previous deal and Guelph's 4th rounder in 2015. In the OHL, 2nd round picks are GOLD, cause you can't trade 1st round picks. Quite the haul, but so much for this year....ha ha...we were not gonna win anyways. The danger was going for it this year and having no picks of consequence for years and years, due to the penalty imposed by Branch for cheating. They made the right move. http://blogs.windsorstar.com/2013/12/03/spits-trade-rychel-ebert-to-guelph/ Guelph has to be considered one of the front runners now, let the one upping begin, London...Barrie...Oshawa....the clock is yours!! Wow, quite the haul for Kerby, never seen this many 2nd rounders tossed around!!
flyercanuck
@jammer2 Wow - Guelph sells the farm for a shot. They've got a good team but that's a lot to give up. Not sure if Barrie should go all in or not....they just don't look great this year.
