hf101
Lots of trades, pretty much revamped the 2nd and 3rd line defensive pairing as Lovejoy wasn't much more than a 3rd line d-man and Wisniewski will now run the PP. Ducks fans have to be happy with these moves. yave1964
If they aren't happy with that then I don'tknow what would make them happy. Wow what a nice haul. Bourque is a zero at this point, Clark has not established himself, Lovejoy is decent, Heatley and Brewer are awful, Smith Pelly, if he has a career it will be as a grinder, and Karlsson is a good prospect but not a premier one. For that mixed bag at best, they got Fleischman, a Boudreau crony who can play up and down the lines on both wings, Desperes and Holzer, both hard hitters, and Wisniewski, a power play specialist whose defensive lapses can be overcome by pairing him with a shut down guy such as Lindholm. Oh and the talented but enigmatic Sekac. My only quibble is one I brought up on here a week ago or so, Boudreau needs to get the lines figured out before the postseason, too much experimenting this late in the year, but that defense, my goodness it might very well be the best in the game. And of course you still have Kessler, Perry and Getzlaf.....
