These two players are very different, but have accomplished alot during their careers and are arguably the best pure offensive players ever not named Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe. Both have similar accolades, both played with players greater than themselves. However, both showed that they could still dominate without Orr or Lemieux. Esposito was the best player in the 1972 summit series while also winning an art ross trophy when Orr was not even a ppg player, so those that claim that Esposito was just a product of Orr are not right... Jagr as well also proved he didn't need Lemieux, he won 4 of his 5 art ross trophies WITHOUT Lemieux.
