ScottM
I won't even start to try to describe this one. I'll just give you the link. I will tell you that it's a world record. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/world-record-shootout-in-women-s-hockey-game-with-54-shots-141807055.html
pilldoc
ok....either stellar goal tending or the players couldn't score even if you made the net 10 feet wide. Ok..I get it was woman's hockey...but seriously...27 rounds!! I don't know who I should feel bad for...the players making it go 27 rounds or the fans having to watch 27 rounds......... hf101
Quote According to the IIHF, the previous shootout record – which also happened to be in a German hockey game, in its men’s league – was set in Nov. 2010 when the Straubing Tigers defeated EHC Munchen 5-4 after 42 shots. A world record in sports where women hold the title above men - that in itself is rather impressive in a very non impressive way. lol.
