The Plan?

You all know how the upper management believes that centermen should have no trouble playing on the wing. Maybe, just maybe, they also think that a good Dman could play anywhere.

Sanheim can play center, after all he is a terrific skater and playmaker. Ghost can move to left wing until he makes a mistake, in which case he is benched for a game or two, and then gets a shot on the right side.

Morin can replace Simmonds in front of the net  on the PP,  ala Pronger, freeing up Simmonds to play wherever-the-hell he wants.

Haag can shuttle between left wing and center, keeping the opposition guessing.

The plan is brilliant. It couldnt be worse than sending out what we have now, could it?

I did suggest at one point that maybe ghost plays forward and couturier play defense, but I think couturier is still learning how to skate backwards.  His mom's paying top money for a skating coach but he's just not picking it up.
