Quick was really fighting the puck tonight.  Good on the Wild to finally crash the net and bury some rebounds.  That was one of the slowest games you'll see as neither team was blessed with many players who could really turn on the jets.  Zuccarello needs to start pulling the trigger more.  The team has enough players who think pass first.

Yes. When pace is slow, the Wild has a chance. Not too many of those games available these days, certainly not in the playoffs.

Blake must be thinking where to shop Quick. League bottom in save %, last season nearly too, horrible rebound control these days. Three more years at $5.8 mil. Or do we blame the D in front of him? Take a chance and trade Quick to Dubnyk? 😎

Nice for Stalock to get a good win - he's earned it.

Well Guerin said Ek, Donato, and Fiala are available

Did he? LOL!!!

Not that those guys have shown anything spectacular but Ek is a 1st round pick and so were Coyle and Granny for who these guys were traded for. And what do these three have in trade value NOW?

Amazing... sure about this bb?

It was not an entertaining game, but they got it done, which to me is more important. This team is not going to be rebuilt any time soon. They have no assets, and the roster is clogged with 30+ year old player with NTC’s. And the teams habit of drafting “safe” players rather than taking a chance on a scorer has left them with a bunch of mediocre replacements for the 30-somethings if and when they retire.

Too true...we were talking about this at Reid's this summer.  The rumor was reported by the Ottawa Sun and Bruce Garroich is about as reliable that way as Eklund.  They're having a dismal season of their own, so they will always be tossing out rumors just to get people to read / click.
