blog-0981332001331419239.jpgHey guys, this is an idea for a series I literally just thought of... I'll be going through all of the 2014 olympic hockey teams and projecting their rosters... remember, this is permitting on whether the NHL decides to go there or not... but if Bettman wants to grow the game like he says he does, he will send Sid and Ovie to Sochi. But anyways, episode 1 begins with Team Russia. Enjoy, and leave a vote and a comment telling me how you like the series! At the end of the series, I'm going to put in my brackets and reveal who I think will win the gold, silver and bronze medals. Thanks for your time!

* HEY guys, sorry for the lines and stuff not matching up..... don't know how to fix it! *

There was a lot of close calls here. But this is what I think the team will look like. The Habs and the Flyers are well represented here with two players a piece, and as well as the 2012 entry draft with Nail Yakupov and Grigorenko making my team. Obviously the Russians have a high powered offence and hard hitting defenders like Volchenkov and Emelin. Their powerplay would be lethal, with Markov dishing the puck to Ovechkin, Kovalchuck, Malkin and Kulyash (the guy who has a 110 MPH slap shot). Ultimately I think it will be Varlamov getting the call over Bryz, mostly because Varlamov is proven to be clutch, and as most of you know, Bryz really isn't... So tell me what you guys think of my Russian line up for Sochi! The next episode will feature the Czechs!

I know, but I am very unfamiliar with most of them... had to do a bit of research just to figure out a lot of it, and plus I think Grigorenko and Yakupov will be a lot better than most of the hosers in the KHL anyways.

Well.. to be fair there are 6 of them if you include Filatov, 7 if you include Kuznetsov but he'll be in the NHL next year, no doubt.
