  1. I left an ode to you the other night with a trio of ‘hot chicks’ for the win against STL….sorry you missed it. One of our friends on the board was disclosing drinking day desperation that opened/burned the eyes. I guess he needed a better ‘support group’ when executing at the bar awash in spirits.
  2. Merrill is not the D I am most concerned about. Gogs is due to give up a 1:0, as he has completely lost ANY for speed. He is just BAD. We need to keep Hunt up and start to rotate in Lambos while Bedrosian is out. We have some pylons in the 6-7 deep
  3. Dear God Man….Your wingman from those days wouldn’t’ Be that cruel to let you partake…or would he?
  4. In an early ode to our ND friend Jim (and given the Wild’s recent play, this is the best they get) wild (out)play the Blues
  5. That looked like the Wild’s PowerlessPlay. Just a couple low,% shots in 4 minutes.
  6. Riley Heidt is 1 point behind the leader in all 3 Canadian Major Jr leagues. He is ahead of many higher draft picks last year (and even previous years). Great pick by the Wild and makes up for potential whiff in Round 1. Not sure what other scouts missed with Heidt. If you care, I am merely bored with our current ‘placeholders’ on our roster and looking forward to some new blood. BTW: KK should have at least 4 A’s in this game - no one is converting some pretty simple pass plays.
  7. For perspective, Yurov’s age 20 full season keeps pace with Kuznetsov’s age 20 season in the KHL and is only off Kucherov’s age 18 season by 7 points in the MHL 36 vs 43 in 23 games. Kuznetsov never played in AHL and kucherov only played 17 games in AHL at age 20 (played age 19 season in the Q, and had 4 points 18 games in KHL when Yurov had 0 in 21 - neither received much TOI). So, I would hope we don’t allow the albatross contracts for underperforming vets to dictate Yurovs near-term opportunity - that would be squarely on BGs shoulders for his summer idiocy.
  8. Many of our ‘Top Six’ have stunk up the joint for 2 years so while I don’t think you hand anything to any player, there should be ZERO claims to at least 2 of the Top Six spots.
  9. Interesting potential to look forward to now that he is finally getting ice time: age 20 season KHL Games. Goals. Assists. Points kaprisov. 46. 15. 25. 40 Yurov. 31. 10. 14. 24 Yurov in 46 46. 15+. 22. 37+ My question: Will Hynes make Yurov play in AHL or on line 4 next year?
  10. Good lord! All our speed merchants out at once: Goligoski, Begosian, Moose, Maroon and Fred. Don’t worry about getting caught with an aggressive pinch
  11. Same number of goals as old friend Sam Steel and one more than old poopscoop Ryan Suitless
  12. Low confidence after Guerin interview between periods. He chose Hynes in hopes that his familiarity with BG and ‘breathes hockey’ would overcome our size, speed, age, and roster/contract construction shortcomings? What a maroon/moron! You screwed the pooch with your decisions on the roster BG - own it.
  13. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves….we have put together a period before here&there…a whole game is a horse of a different color.
  14. Fred MUST score. Evasion won’t be here to be his ‘wet nurse’ any longer.
  15. The whispers for the Wall are going to continue to get louder. Too bad our GM (who should have canned for the albatross contracts) has ‘tied our hands’ on any personal movement but 4th liners (unless we have a significant injury). Worst contracts because of present performance, length and/or NMC/NTCs: Goligoski, Fred, Spurg, Moose, Johansson - if I were an income rookie in the next 2 years - I would be pissed. Oh, and the grumbling in Nash about Haynes is he relegated youth/skill behind aged middling vets
  16. Why is Goligoski in the line-up? His teeth are so long he could pass for a walrus (and skates as fast as one too)
  17. I’ll be back shortly after I loosen the bowels…hopefully when the PK is resolved with a 5:5 tally
