    If Mike Richards gets bought out, should the Flyers try to sign him?

    @FlyersFan4Life  Problem is, if LA buys him out, there could be a little battle to sign him. If enough teams are interested, he could drive his asking price up to 4 mill a year, and considering his injury problems, I'd be a little hesitant to commit that much cap space to a guy who really can't be counted on. Like most of predicted, Mike's frame is to small to play the gritty game he has to employ if he's to be effective. Sadly, I think the injuries will be a regular thing with Mike...so gotta pass.

    I do agree to a point unless he came cheap which prolly wont happen, I just want to see a winger for roo and a solid d man if they can get one Matt Niskanen maybe which would be a stretch

    I have been reading this on several websites. Seems like LA fans realy don't care for him that much. Carter has seemed to thrive in LA but Richy really has dropped off in LA. Philly won that trade hands down. Would we want him if LA buys him out I am on the fence with this one. If philly can get rid of Vinny and have Richy center Scott and Akeson would not be bad.

    I can't blame Roo at all yeah is he being double teamed and hit every timeyes, even superstars can get shut down. Look at the Pitt Jackets Series  neither Malkin or CIndy have goals and have been pretty much quiet and shutdown and they are super stars. What has happened is the rest of the team has picked their lack of scoring and now have 2-1 lead in the series. The Flyers need to do the same. Where the hell are the other 6+ 20 goal scorers at?

    rather than mcdonald I would rather have Dustin Butt****ing. At least he can clear the crease has a bomb of a shot and can play wing if needed

    I usually do not like tim p I think he is a yes man kool aid drinker. But even he sees that vinny was a mistake singing as many of us on this forum saw. The flyers did not get what they need which was a winger or a better themselves on d or save the cash and cap space for a rainy day. Nope they went out and got the BIG NAME FA they got the big name but failed to get what the teams really needs were which was d or a winger or save the cap space. now we are stick with a big contract. Way to go homer
