Young talent takes time to develop from the junior level into the minor league. The player also must be ready to play at an 82 game season. Are these players ready the compete for the ice time. How long have they been at the level they are at.

When such a skilled player has problems look to see what them. Playing for Montreal is turf city and team to play with high standards. Sometimes the high standards get in the way of playing the game.

Make sure the referees know all current rule changes. When the player has been kept form continuing up the ice. The open ice hits witch always seem to have elbows to the head. Refresh them at what point should be called. When does a goaltender become subject to hits. How from the net is he covered by the trapezoidal area? These are just some of the areas that need work.

What in the world are these player thinking. Do they realize how hard it will be for the salary to be payed over the next three to five years. How can anyone not think about the salary cap going from 70% to 57%. A longer period of time before becoming a free agent. Teams will be responsible for the salaries longer. The bottom line is will how much will it cost in ticket prices, fan base, to keep the rink and players in good condition.

If Bettmam takes away the pro players would you consider players from the NCAA level. Which would make them college level between the ages of 18 to 20 years old.
