@OccamsRazor Am I understanding that you value Savard as a suitable partner for Sanheim? Um, yeah, I don't thnik you will ever see that winning cup with the team making those moves. They need to bring in a guy to pair with Provy, and hopefully for multiple years

I think its about buliding a complete team, as opposed to plug and play. We all know the Flyers always over value their players and under value their needs. It's just "draft that one superstar and the rest will fall in line". Of course that only works if you draft number 1, which they never do. I get that hardly anyone here thinks Fletcher will do a good job. Lucky for me that I don't follow GM's well enough to know the difference. So I will give him benefit of doubt. But, I think the Flyers finally realize they can't hide the **** under the carpet. Its out there for all to see. So they will be forced to make changes. I have hope

I've been thinking about this, and I think signing a guy of Nisky's caliber would be the best. I just don't know who that is. So if they pass on Jones, and Hamilton, and get a Larson, or Savard, or whoever, as long as he is a top pair guy, things will stabilize. I just don't think Myers and Sanheim will suck that bad again. I think Morin can be a regular, barring injury. Hopefully York comes up and Braun goes AWAY I also think Hart bounces back But GUT the ever living hell out of that offense

and IF Morin dresses regularly? I read that article that says Larson is a pretty good option. I mean, if you just want a defenseman who won a cup, there's Luke Schenn

i think you will. Im expecting a surprising off season and complete team makeover. Steps in the right direction

I still think Jones is a premier player at his position. He and Provy together for the next 7 or 8 years, in front of Hart, would be awesome. Analytics can suck a bag of dicks

@tucson83 I feel the same. Gut this team. The ship is sinking. If they don't do something to improve defense, Hart will get ruined. How long has it been since the Flyers had a true potential number 1 goalie? Everyone wants to save prospects and draft picks. Seems to me finding a goalie has been harder than any other position for the Flyers.

BTW...I heard that! That you're prolly right is irrelevant should it happen, and I'm proven to me more correct than less, it will just prove I'm a big chip in a bag full of crumbs
