Proof that lesser players are treated different than superstars....... Michael Rasmussen was suspended for his nasty high stick on David Krejci. two games for the hit which forced Krejci from the game and he is expected to miss a bit of time.

look, not arguing the hit was nasty and perhaps worthy of suspension. just pointing out last week that Kuznetsov got one game for swinging his stick like Negan on the walking dead and got one game. Once again the bettet the player the shorter the suspension.

:shifty:

NHL DOPS: Ok, now who do we have next to see?
Secretary: Connor McDavid, Sir.

NHL DOPS: Alright, alright, send him in....Dammit Connor! What the HELL do you think you are doing trying to behead a guy because your patented deke didn't work on him? You realize what an awkward situation you put us in?? Suspended one game with pay...now get outta here, don't wanna see you back in here!

NHL DOPS: Marge, who is next in here?
Secretary: Willie Willingham III

NHL DOPS: Great. Another out of control meathead. Send HIM in...

NHL DOPS: Dammit, Wiltinghowe, what is your problem? You trip a guy because he blew by you on a breakaway? Do you realize how dangerous that is, dammit??

Guy could have lost all his teeth on the ice, he could have been embarrassed in front of his friends and family....never mind that he got up and kept skating...you were called for the tripping penalty and we are here for the betterment of the game, and YOU are an animal, Wilkenson!
3 game suspension without pay, and I hope you learned your lesson! This league isn't gonna put up with goonery any longer!

So true.  The inconsistencies seem like they're just spinning different wheels of justice depending on the level of "stardom" a player has.  George Parros has shown he is absolutely not the right person to be director of this department.  It's well past time for him to be replaced.
