Polaris922 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 The Penguins haven't made any big news in the first two hours of free agency but have decided to bring back enforcer Steve MacIntyre. He has signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Penguins. The value of the NHL portion of the contract is $625,000. MacIntyre, a feared fighter, played 12 games with the Penguins last season and 24 games in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He was suspended for four games in March while playing for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton because of an attack on an AHL goaltender. He has also played for the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers. Quote
