The Penguins haven't made any big news in the first two hours of free agency but have decided to bring back enforcer Steve MacIntyre.

He has signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Penguins. The value of the NHL portion of the contract is $625,000.

MacIntyre, a feared fighter, played 12 games with the Penguins last season and 24 games in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He was suspended for four games in March while playing for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton because of an attack on an AHL goaltender.

He has also played for the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers.
