MacIntyre played 12 games with Pittsburgh, collecting six penalty minutes. He appeared in 24 contests with WBS, totaling one goal and 59 penalty minutes.A native of Brock, Saskatchewan, MacIntyre has played 90 career NHL games for Pittsburgh, Edmonton and Florida, tallying two goals, two assists, four points and 163 penalty minutes. Mac isn't playing with a full deck so if he does something to a Boston player, Boston has the horses to take an important piece out of Pittsburgh. Mac is a 6th line player in a 4 line league so i'm not sure you want a guy going postal risking your own players. Opposing teams have to acknowledge he can put a beat down on someone, and if he's suspended ten games nobody cares. That makes people think twice before running star players, even if most of ours are sidelined. And honestly I'd rather have him up than Glass right now.
