flyercanuck
After losing game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on a terrible call the Barrie Colts rebounded with a 5-0 thrashing of the Belleville Bulls on the Bulls home rink to tie the series 1-1. The series now comes back to Barrie where the Colts hold the best home ice record in the entire OHL. Mattias Niederberger stopped 36 shots for the shutout and the games 2nd star. He was 3rd star in the first game loss, where he stopped 38 shots. Philly should take a serious look at this highly skilled and super athletic goalie. He's undrafted at this point of his career and holds a .950 save percentage in postseason. He's small for an NHL goalie but has cat-like reflexes. Mark Scheifele has been a machine since game 1 of the Oshawa series when I mentioned he was floating out there. He is tied for the scoring lead despite Barrie playing the least amount of playoff games.
jammer2
@flyercanuck Saw the OT goal, nice shot. I doubt the Bulls win another game, maybe one more, but doubt it.
flyercanuck
@jammer2 And we get O'Connor back in two games! Camaras goal was a beauty, and with 5 seconds left in the first OT a potential killer.
