brelic
http://www.csnphilly.com/hockey-philadelphia-flyers/report-flyers-re-sign-chris-vandevelde The Flyers continue to add organizational depth, re-signing center Chris VandeVelde on Friday to a one-year deal, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports. VandeVelde’s deal is reportedly a two-way deal worth $575,000. VandeVelde signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Flyers last year on Dec. 12 and played in 18 games with the team, recording one assist. He was one of the team’s final cuts during training camp prior to the 2012-13 season. In 41 games for the Phantoms last year, VandeVelde put up 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists). Prior to the Flyers, VandeVelde played 28 games over the course of three seasons for the Edmonton Oilers, bouncing back and forth between the big club and their AHL affiliate. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2005 draft by the Oilers. The 27-year-old will help address the issue of organizational depth, one that Ron Hextall has put a focus on in his first season as the team’s general manager. Samifan
Glad to see Mr. Vandelay back, flyers need a strong importer/exporter in their OrganEYEzaySCHUN.
jammer2
Very hard worker, but his foot speed nullifies most of his potential. Hopefully he's just depth for the Phantoms.
