hf101
Anaheim's Fred Andersen is the 2nd goalie in NHL history to win 25 of his first 30 decisions, joining Boston's Ross Brooks in 1974. His 25th win was also his first shutout.
Commander Clueless
I was going to come in here and point out that it's Andersen, not Anderson. But then I noticed you knew that already. And I pointed it out anyway. Deal with it. Anyway, congratulations to Andersen. I know Gibson gets a lot of the praise in Anaheim, but from what I've seen of Freddy, I've been impressed. yave1964
@hf101 I was all set to draft him and then I saw that they were giving Gibson the start in the opener in Pittsburgh and it gave me pause. Of course Gibson gave up six goals to Crosby and Co. and Anderson stepped in and was elite, and that is that.

In the NAHANA league I drafted Gibson as I thought he would become the starter in Anaheim,... thinking I'll be set for a long time in this league with Rask and Gibson. After the opening games I dropped Gibson and picked up Kuemper. 3 shutouts in 4 games.
