I'm really happy about this signing.   Now I know Lovejoy had a good playoff season for us, particularly the Tampa series, but I'm happy to see him go.  The Devils way overpaid for him in my eyes  ($2.67 mill) on a three year deal.  And I think our blue line will improve as a result.

I tend to agree with your statement. I wasn't overly happy to see him come back to PITTSBURGH. In a way I would like to see Dupree in a Penguin sweater again!

I also was never a Lovejoy fan.  I really wanted to see the development of Despres in a Pens jersey and even though we won the cup this season, that trade in my eyes was still a loser.

 

That said, somehow we got the best playing that Lovejoy had at the end of this season,   I don't think he can reproduce that. Bye Bye Rev, good luck to ya.
